Mulled Wine Sorbet

 750 ml Full bodied red wine
 140 ml Water
 1 Orange
 1 Lemon
 1 Apple
 6 Cloves
 1 Star anise
 1 3 inch cinnamon stick
 Sugar - to taste
 200 ml Orange juice
 2 tbsp Brandy

Put water, fruit and spices into a pan, bring to the boil and simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Add red wine and brandy and warm through.

Remove from the heat and chill completely.

Pour into ramekins or plastic wine glasses and freeze for at least 4 hours.
